Blue Green Zine
Showcase of Work by 14-16yr Media Students
7th-8th October
The Creative Media students at the 14-16yr College at Hull College worked over the summer term with The Critical Fish to explore the theme of Our Environment .
The young people were encouraged to explore local and favourite green and blue spaces in the context of climate crisis. They responded creatively to raise awareness of environmental issues and to express their hopes and fears for the future.
Following research and interviews with artists, and experimentation with a range of media techniques, the students made an individual zine and a page for the collective Blue Green Zine.
Over 40 students were involved in the project, facilitated by Critical Fish's Thomas Robinson, Jill Howitt and Lauren Saunders, with 37 contributing pages to the collective zine.
