Curating Interventions by Artists from across Europe at HARI

Writer, researcher and curator Andrew Hodgson – born and brought up in Hull, now based at Universite Paris Cite, France – is remotely curating a series of artists interventions in HARI.
Andrew is inviting artists from across Europe to showcase their work in the context of HARI’s unique space, and Hull's cultural scene.
These interventions will be accompanied by a conversation between each artist and curator, with opportunity for the audience in HARI to contribute to the discussions and explore issues raised by them in their work.

Reflective writing will be produced for each Chapter.
The first Artist selected to share their work with a Hull audience was the fantastic Paris based Sculpture, Installation and Film artist, Laura Gozlan.
We watched the 4 previously shown films of her ongoing series about MuM, plus the latest film as a work-in-progress, projected onto the 'stage wall' in HARI, while Laura and Andrew joined us throughout from her studio apartment in Paris via Zoom.
Following the films, Andrew conducted a fascinating informal interview Laura, then the audience delved even deeper into her practice in an intimate Q&A conversation.
